What we are exploring
Resilient industry is an exploration. Industrial companies and clusters depend heavily on energy, water, transport and digital systems, and are themselves a link that others depend on. When something fails, it rarely concerns a single company. It concerns a chain and often an entire area.
The questions we are investigating
- How do companies on a site or in a cluster get a shared view of their critical dependencies?
- What can they organise together that is out of reach individually: emergency power, water, transport, staff, communication?
- How does such a joint approach relate to the duty of care under the Dutch Critical Entities Resilience Act?
- What role do the municipality, the safety region, the grid operator and the surrounding area play?
Think along
Are you active in industry, on a business park or at a trade association, and do these questions sound familiar? We would like to talk. Send us a message. You can read more about the legislation on our page about the WWKE.
