Resilt opens free membership for households and businesses on the launch day of the Denk Vooruit campaign, with a hub network across the Netherlands.

Today the Dutch national government's Denk Vooruit campaign for entrepreneurs begins. At the same time, Resilt opens its membership free of charge for households, self-employed professionals, SMEs, institutions and organisations that want to work together on resilience, what Resilt calls collective self-reliance.

Resilt operates through a hub network that is being built across the Netherlands, supported by partnerships with Repair Cafe Nederland (more than 600 locations), Prepshop, asr and a growing number of local host locations: pharmacies, drugstores, DIY stores and community centres. Active clusters are running in Utrecht (city centre and Universiteitskwartier), Vollenhove and surrounding municipalities; new clusters are being developed in all twelve provinces.

Members work together according to Resilt's ISAFE model, five steps that make resilience practical and manageable: Identifying critical dependencies, Signalling threats and vulnerabilities, Alerting through mutual assistance agreements, Fortifying by eliminating threats and building up backups and stocks, and Evaluating through exercises, e-learning and regional events.

Potential member benefits include collective purchasing on joint terms, joint outreach to suppliers and institutions, and requests for support from governments and authorities.

Resilt founder Michel Scholte: "Becoming resilient is expensive, but threats are expensive too. We are honest: we do not promise a preparedness guarantee, but we do commit to effort. Membership remains free for the basic tier. With hubs across the Netherlands and a growing member network, we are already no longer standing alone. The more people and entrepreneurs join, the more we can negotiate with suppliers and the stronger our voice towards governments and institutions. When there are more of us, we become stronger."

Resilt is actively seeking collaboration with municipalities, safety regions, industry associations and insurers in all regions.
