Resilt has launched!

Resilt has launched! The technology-driven platform that strengthens resilience for households, companies and (government) institutions. Concrete, affordable and measurable: from self-scan and tasks to local resources, courses and area insights.

The launch took place during the Resilience Breakfast in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, where we reflected on the importance of resilience: preventing, preparing for, dealing with, adapting to and recovering from disruptions and crises. The urgency was clear and tangible: how do we make sure companies, institutions and households become more resilient? Key themes were sustainability, social connection, climate adaptation and prevention.

Various speakers shared their vision:

  • Michel Scholte, serial entrepreneur True Price, Impact Institute and founder of Resilt: “Resilience calls for smart collaboration and innovation. We proudly launch the technology-driven platform that strengthens resilience for households, companies and institutions. Concrete, affordable and measurable.”
  • Senna Maatoug, Deputy Mayor for Mobility, Energy & Climate: “We are proud that the Resilience Breakfast is being organised here in Utrecht as part of the Built Environment Climate Summit. Being prepared for the consequences of climate change is an essential part of making our society resilient. A resilient society will ask something of all of us, and is not just a safety, climate or health issue.”
  • Has Bakker, Provincial Executive member for Water & Soil, Climate & Circular Society, Finance, Organisation and Land Affairs: “When we talk about resilience, we quickly focus on physical resilience and the physical environment. But it is about social structures. We forget those all too easily, yet they are super important!”

  • Diederik Samsom, board member, supervisory director and chair of the Built Environment Climate Summit: “In the built environment it is not only about building more or more sustainably, but also about building more resiliently. And about building resilience.”
  • Jolande Sap, board member and supervisory director at KPN and Chapter Zero Nederland, among others: “The pain is real now, and that can be the catalyst needed for action. At Chapter Zero Nederland we see that resilience is the item on the agenda, and we will give it substance with supervisory boards.”
  • Max Droste, Director of Strategy & Digitalisation at the Rijksvastgoedbedrijf (Major General, Royal Netherlands Air Force): “The cost of doing nothing is now much higher than the cost of action. Winning on autonomy is winning on resilience.”

  • Arjan van den Born, CEO ROM Utrecht Region: “A resilient company is not only necessary, it is also attractive for entrepreneurship. The Utrecht region offers solutions for resilience.”
  • Tom Middendorp, former Chief of Defence, Special Envoy for European Defence Cooperation, Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy: “Higher walls alone will not get us there. We must build prevention and cooperation now. It is essential to involve young generations and reform education for climate resilience.”

The breakfast was organised in collaboration with Klimaattop Gebouwde Omgeving, Duurzaam Gebouwd, ROM Utrecht Region, Impact Institute, True Price, Forteiland Pampus, and the Think Now Foundation.
