Joris Luyendijk to speak at the National Resilience Conference

On Friday 12 June, Resilt welcomes publicist and author Joris Luyendijk as a speaker at the National Resilience Conference in Theater Utrecht. Drawing on his background as a writer, former correspondent and sharp observer of societal systems, he brings a relevant perspective on the major shifts of our time.

Recently, Luyendijk has been speaking out ever more emphatically about geopolitical unrest, European vulnerability and the need to sustain support for Ukraine. In doing so, he touches directly on questions that are also central to Resilt: how do we increase resilience, how do we reduce dependence, and how do we make sure households, organisations and supply chains are better prepared for disruptions? His contribution underlines why resilience today is not an abstract concept but a concrete task for society, government and business.

In October 2025, Joris spoke at the National Conference on Broad Prosperity about how movements can be successful.
