A shared executive agenda
The Chief Resilience Officers Network connects executive leaders, public and private, who carry responsibility for resilience and collective self-reliance in their own organisation and sector. The network is not a think tank and not an advisory market. It is a shared executive working agenda.
The network is chaired by Marinka van der Meer and Jan Ernst de Groot.
Events so far
- Roundtable, 7 May 2026, Provinciehuis Utrecht. Setting the shared working agenda for 2026.
- Resilience Breakfast, 12 June 2026, Theater Utrecht. Executive roundtable ahead of the National Resilience Congress, with a dialogue on climate adaptation and critical products and services.
- Roundtable, autumn 2026. Evaluating the running projects and preparing the 2027 agenda.
How to take part
There are two ways to join.
As an executive. Free of charge, by nomination or self-application, subject to a check against the criteria. You hold an executive role and mandate in an organisation that delivers critical products or services, in a government body that governs an area, or in an organisation that brings these parties together. You endorse the whole-of-society approach.
As a partner. Organisations formally partnered with Resilt also get room to put their own cases on the agenda and help shape the working agenda.
What we ask of each other
Attendance at at least one roundtable a year, and a willingness to take a concrete resilience step in your own organisation or area and report back on it. Within the network a code of conduct rules out sales pitches, alongside the Chatham House Rule: you may share the content, not who said what. Advisers with a commercial resilience practice join through a separate route, not as members.
