Denk Vooruit preparedness playbook for businesses

Know what to do when the Netherlands goes down

A power cut, a failure in the payment chain, a cyberattack at one of your suppliers. In the playbook you write down who and what is indispensable, and what has to happen first. Free of charge, at your own pace, and stored only on your own device.

This is not an official channel of the Dutch government. The playbook is an independent application by Resilt, based on public government information and international sources on resilience.

What you fill in

  • 1Your businessWhich people, products and systems are the heart of your business, and what keeps running when the power, the internet or the payment chain drops out.
  • 2Your supply chainWhich suppliers and partners you depend on, what you agree with them, and how long you can keep going on what you have in stock.
  • 3Your surroundingsWho around you depends on your business, what you can mean for the neighbourhood, and what you arrange with the municipality.

Free, and yours

Filling in, saving, printing and exporting costs nothing. Your answers sit encrypted in your own browser and only reach the Compass when you choose to send them.

On paper within the hour

You work through three themes in three steps: prepare, during an emergency, and learn. What you fill in is saved automatically.

Ready for the duty of care

The questions follow the Dutch Denk Vooruit campaign and what the Wwke will ask of critical entities. A completed playbook is the first step.

Resilt Compass

A playbook that keeps itself current

A completed playbook is a snapshot. Suppliers change, sites change and threats shift. The Resilt Compass works from the same questions, but fills them in from the Resilt Database, keeps them current, and connects what is happening today to what affects you.

  • You do not start with an empty screen: suppliers, sites and infrastructure are filled in for you.
  • A daily analysis of outages, weather and threat at the places where you operate.
  • Colleagues work together in roles, with tasks, exercises and a demonstrable history.
  • From the Network form onwards you send information back into the network, choosing per item.

The playbook stays free. The Compass is a licence; your registration is reviewed by Resilt first.

Create a Resilt account

Filling in the playbook is and stays free. With an account you can move it across to the Resilt Compass later. Access to the Compass itself only follows once an administrator has accepted your registration and assigned a licence.

At least 8 characters.

The password for your playbook is separate from this. That one stays on your own device and encrypts your answers.
